Maternity and Newborn Care

The Birth Center is equipped with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for high-risk newborns. It is Maryland’s first birth center to earn the Baby Friendly designation from WHO and UNICEF for breastfeeding support.

Pediatric Services

The hospital operates the first and largest Pediatric Emergency Department in Montgomery County, staffed by fellowship-trained pediatric emergency physicians and intensivists, available 24/7.
